The stations on this line are very well kept for unstaffed halts, the only thing missing is a ticket machine ... i would prefer a ticket office, he ho that's progress

The line to the left leads to plymouth and the one to the right heads off towards calstock and gunislake, currently service between plymouth and gunnislake have to reverse at bere alston... it is not clear what will happen when tavistock services are reinstated

New Ashburton Junction Signal Box

This box was originally at Cradley Heath was transported to Devon from Birmingham Railway Museum where it was previously preserved it is now located at totnes little hempston station on the south devon railway
